Hardly used and already broken

Like the earlier complaint, my printer has the same problem with a little plastic part that tells you the top is up broke off so I can never use it again. This should be replaced by the company because evidently it has a defect common in this model. When I pay hard earned money for a product, I expect it to last at least until the new wears off. I think the company that manufactured this should either replace it with a better one or refund the purchase price. Whenever I get some satisfaction I will think about purchasing from Lexmark again.
